- The first step that you need to perform is to download the Furbo app on your smartphone or tablet. You can get the download option from the play store using your iOS device or Google Play using your Android device.
- You have to turn on your mobile phone’s Bluetooth.
- Now, you have to plug your Furbo in and have to wait for a little bit until you see a green light. If you see that the light did not turn green, please perform a Hard Reset on Furbo device.
- Now, you need to open your Furbo application and have to create a Furbo account by tapping New Furbo User. If you already have an account, then you should tap Already have an account? Sign In” and then enter your Furbo email and password.
- Now, you have to select the device that you want to set up.
- Your Furbo application should start scanning for the Furbo Dog Camera device in setup mode, which is a green light. If you are having problems getting past this step and getting an error, then you should go to the Error Message: ‘Can’t connect to your Furbo’ for more help.
- Now, you should select the Wi-Fi network that you want to connect your Furbo to. You should make sure that your Wi-Fi connection is 2.4GHz. If it is dual-band, make sure to only connect it to the compatible connection.
- Enter your WiFi password then, wait a few minutes while your Furbo is being set up.
- When you will set up your Furbo then, you will be asked to name your Furbo.
- If you wish, you can select a name from the list or tap “Add Custom Name” to create your name.
- We have come almost at the last stage. Tap the next option, then, type your custom name.
- Tap Save option. You are done.
